Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 June 2026
Aurea Properties (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this pre-launch website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Aurea Properties is a luxury real estate brand launching in the Algarve, Portugal. For any privacy matter, contact us at [email protected]. We act as the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect
When you register your interest on this site, we collect and store:
- Your email address
- Whether you chose to join the Aurea Members waiting list
- Your language preference (English or Portuguese)
- The date and time you gave consent
Security verification
The signup form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse. As part of that check, Cloudflare processes technical connection data such as your IP address on our behalf. We do not store your IP address with your registration. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details of their processing.
Why we collect it and on what legal basis
We use your details solely to notify you about our launch and to send occasional updates about Aurea Properties, including, if you opted in, Members benefits such as priority access and event invitations.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
How long we keep your data
We keep your registration until you unsubscribe or until the launch communications it was collected for have concluded, after which it is deleted. If you withdraw consent, we delete your details promptly.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. It is stored in a secure database and processed only by the infrastructure providers that host this website and its services (acting as data processors under our instructions).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting prior processing
Unsubscribing and contact
To unsubscribe, exercise any of your rights, or ask a question about this policy, email [email protected] and we will respond promptly.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at cnpd.pt.
