About the house
SAL is an interior design and architecture studio in the Algarve’s Golden Triangle, led by architect Sérgio Gonçalves and designer Isabela Gonçalves. Its approach draws on the region’s landscapes and Portuguese craftsmanship, with each project shaped around the client’s needs and way of living.
The studio works from initial consultation through to the finishing details, covering layouts, materials, furniture, lighting and accessories. Its Almancil showroom offers furniture, lighting and decorative pieces, alongside bespoke services including upholstery, textiles and carpentry.
